Volunteering at the Sharing the Harvest Community Farm

Volunteering at the Sharing the Harvest Community Farm, is a hands-on way to support local hunger relief while enjoying a rewarding community experience. Volunteers can expect to work outdoors in the fields or greenhouse. You'll learn about farming, food origins, and the fight against hunger while getting a little dirty and making new friends.

What to Expect While Volunteering

First and foremost, we expect everyone to have fun at the farm while we accomplish our work together. Expect hands-on learning. You will get dirty and muddy; all while having a good time in the field or greenhouse.

Come prepared for:

  • Doing farm work outdoors, rain or shine.
  • Unexpected weather; dress in layers!
  • Making new friends while volunteering alongside like-minded community members.
  • Learning about hunger, food origination, agriculture, and volunteer stewardship.
