Senior Programs
Senior Programs include socially engaging, total body, low impact workouts. These classes are designed to improve muscle strength, cardiovascular fitness, and overall lifelong health, with options that support participants managing Parkinson’s disease. S.E.A.T (Supported Exercise for Ageless Training) programs offer an evidence based, chair assisted, functional workout that is unique, fun, and accessible for a wide range of abilities.
A Free Y Membership!
Free Senior Adult Memberships are available to individuals enrolled in Silver & Fit (Commonwealth Care Alliance/MA), Tufts Senior Plan, or United HealthCare/Renew Active, who are age 65 or older. You must present your qualified health card when you are activating your new membership. United Health Care members must have a confirmation code. Please call the number on the back of your medical card, to see if you qualify, and then stop by the Welcome Center of your local Y for more information.
