The Y’s Before and After-School programs provide year-round care. We understand parents’ need to work, and we have a variety of program options during school vacations, snow days, teacher in-service days, and summer.

YMCA Southcoast is committed to the provision of quality, affordable care, and education, and believes that our staff serves as an extension of your family. Programming consists of daily activities that offer opportunities for each child’s growth physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Families registered for 5 days of Preschool or School age AFTERSCHOOL are eligible for a FREE YMCA FAMILY MEMBERSHIP
Enrolling in Child Care
Getting started is simple. To enroll your child in one of our YMCA Southcoast programs, please download and complete the enrollment form linked on this page. Submit the completed form to your local branch to begin the registration process. If you have any questions or need help choosing the right program for your child, our team is here to help every step of the way.
Your Child's Daily Experience
Children receive homework help, healthy snacks, and time for recreation in the gym, outdoor play, arts and crafts, building, library time, and guided projects. Staff encourage imagination, friendship, confidence, and positive habits.
School Age Care Value Added Benefits
Families can access year round options that may include snow days, teacher in service days, and school vacations. Summer day camp is available. Vouchers may be accepted, and a family friendly payment plan option may be available.
